Each community must fill out an employee profile with their Palmetto Pass registration. 

The AAGC (Provider) agrees to:

• Provide access to all employees of the Apartment Community (Subscriber) for any AAGC Education Seminars, Workshops, and Non-Certification Courses (e.g. Property Management Pre-licensing Course, NAA Credentialing courses, CPO, EPA, and other similar courses are excluded) throughout the subscription period. The subscription period is one calendar year to align with AAGC Dues. Members who join mid-year will have the cost prorated. The pass does not include non-education events such as monthly dinner meetings, EXPO, Supplier Appreciation, Brilliance Awards, etc.
• Offer a 10% Discount off of AAGC-hosted certification courses (CPO, EPA, PM/PMIC Pre-Licensing Class, etc.).

• Provide Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for all attendees in accordance with NAAEI guidelines of one (1) credit per hour of classroom instruction.
  
  

The Apartment Community (subscriber) agrees to:

• Remain an AAGC Member in good standing (i.e. no past due invoices) throughout the subscription period.
• Provide a roster of employees (Participants) of the Subscriber, update that roster as it changes, & only allow Participants of the Subscriber to attend under this agreement. Each Subscriber may also include one corporate employee as a Participant (such as a Regional Manager). If a management company registers all their properties that are members of the AAGC, a complimentary subscription will be provided to the management company for its corporate employees so long as all of their properties remain in good standing as members.
• Register any Participant no less than 72 hours in advance of a registration deadline to participate in an eligible Palmetto Pass course.
• If a change in ownership (Sale) occurs during the subscription period, and the new owner becomes an active member of the AAGC, the subscription will transfer upon written request. If the new owner does not become a member of the AAGC within 30 days of the Sale, the remainder of the subscription is forfeited. It is the responsibility of the Subscriber to notify the AAGC of management and ownership changes and to request a transfer of the subscription to the new owner.
• As with membership in the AAGC, the subscription fees paid in advance are not refundable and any prepaid subscription credits remain with the Subscriber.

• If the Subscriber’s membership in the AAGC becomes “not in good standing” (e.g. delinquent on accounts payable to AAGC), the Subscriber agrees that all services related to this subscription are suspended until their account is made current and the member is back “in good standing” with the AAGC.

• Noncompliance with the terms of this agreement could result in the agreement being revoked and the Subscriber forfeiting the subscription fees and the remaining term of the subscription. 
• Subscribers and Participants who register for a class as part of their Palmetto Pass benefits and who fail to attend the class without proper cancellation (prior to the standard registration deadline posted for each event) will be invoiced for the full cost of the class at the standard Registration rate posted on the AAGC website.
• Understanding that emergencies do occur, the AAGC, at its own discretion, may admit a substitute participant to any Palmetto Pass class upon notification from the Subscriber or Participant that an emergency has come up and a Participant is unable to attend after the proper cancellation deadline described above has passed. This substitute participant must be from the same management company or ownership group (substitute needs to be from the same community/roster of the community or the designated corporate employee for that community). More than two occurrences could be considered as abuse of the subscription and noncompliance. 
• To be the best steward of AAGC resources while also attempting to allow as many attendees as possible for any given class, and due to content being presented and instructor recommendations, the AAGC may need to limit certain class sizes.  You understand and agree that participation in the Palmetto Pass program does not guarantee registration for every class that is offered. If a larger venue is available and the AAGC is able to increase the capacity of a particular class, the AAGC will attempt to do so, but it is not guaranteed. You understand and agree that any limitations registration, class size, or on class availability is reasonable and necessary and in the sole discretion of the AAGC.  You further understand and agree that class size restrictions, venue availability, registration restrictions/limitations for classes, or seat unavailability for classes does not give rise to any claims, causes of action, or requests for any refunds or reimbursement of any kind in whole or in part from AAGC.

Before the pass can be activated, AAGC staff must have the signed user agreement, completed the employee profile, and paid.
